What is a Docent?

Volunteer docents are the museum's tour guides that lead groups through Margaret Brown's home on a 45 minute tour.  Docents recount the historical aspects of her life, and the lessons and overarching themes of the time period.  Docents also alert guests to the restoration of the Museum, programs, and events that the Museum hosts.
